It depends on the kind of chips you're looking for.

DRAM, flash memory, power, RFICs, Logic (CPU), sensors, analog chips - those are the broad categories, with many subcategories within each. E.g. consumer electronicss vs. automobile power ICs.

DRAM, Flash, Logic supply has eased up. Analog a bit less so. We might even have a glut of the first three soon.
