Secure: own node (computer), Electrum (computer and phone), Phoenix (phone).
User friendly: Phoenix, Alby (browser extension, which also let you access nostr clients without givig them your keys, very handy), Wallet of Satoshi (mobile), yes, even when it's custodial (making it very clear to the newbie and using it as another opportunity to reinforce learning the differences between third party custody and self custody), it's very simple and an excellent choice for newbies to practice making and paying tiny invoices (even 1 sat) without worrying about making any mistakes or incurring in higher fees than they would like to pay at that point.
Easy to transfer: All of them before, especially WoS and Phoenix, which focus on making the use of LN as easy and transparent as possible.
