This is not your usual ode to parenting. Most parents write about how their child has ennobled their lives as they enjoy watching a little one grow and achieve various milestones. They develop a fierce love for their offspring and want nothing but the best for him/her.

But I am perhaps more self-centered, so I will like to cast the spotlight on myself. I never cared too much about money as I was confident in my resourcefulness to attain the things that I wanted without too much monetary involvement. For example, I adored travelling and was able to indulge this obsession by signing up for many work trips in my day job. But since becoming a father, I developed an overnight obsession with money. I needed to save for his diapers, his toys and his college fund - all at the same time. It was with this headspace that identified my mental and psychological state that I started to look at Bitcoin differently. I might not care about money myself but I did believe that Bitcoin would be around for the long term and gain in prominence over time. As such, didn’t I need to learn the ins and outs first so that I could SHOW HIM THE WAY?

So that was the impetus for me to start investing in Bitcoin. One thing led to another, and that’s why you see me here! I’m trying out many things in this BTC ecosystem, all of which will stand me in good stead when I need to guide my boy. I’m thankful that his existence has allowed me to uncover another passion in life.
