Getting a new citizenship takes time (usually at least 5 years but there are some that can be obtained in 2-3 years)
But there are basically dozens (if not hundreds) you can move to, as a temporary resident, rent an apartment and have a better quality of life than you do now (assuming you keep the same income)
Yeah there'll be forms and stuff once you sign up as a permanent resident, but much less of the corporate face-scanning stuff as you move around the country.
It's a fair point though, as an American, your passport isn't particularly strong (ie, welcome). Just check any passport index - here's one off google: https://www.henleyglobal.com/passport-index/ranking
