Your Thoughts on Bitcoin DeFi \ stacker news ~bitcoin

Hey y'all. I'm new here but love the platform so far! I came across this research paper detailing the current state of Bitcoin DeFi. I didn't realize how many projects were being attempted such as RSK, Stacks, and Liquid. Would love to hear your thoughts...

I'm a bit torn myself. Happy to see these services being provided and I'm sure they will help with adoption. But on the other hand, some of these apps seem to stray from Bitcoin's vision. Hope you enjoy. Cheers!

So few people understand how bad of a moral hazard the practice of usury is for the individual and society simultaneously. I don't even know where to start you. "How the economic machine works" by Ray Dalio? Maybe we'd rather jump straight into "Human Action" by Ludwig Von Mises.

How did you happen across that? Coincidentally, I had learned about Sequentia for the first time from the post where their Github repo was shared. From that I went to their Telegram group, which is where I found that link for the Bitcoin DeFi paper there.

I then shared a post, here on SN, where that paper was shared several months back:
