So this trade is essentially Chris Godwin who might not be ready until week 6 and two back up running backs for Hurts?

Here’s the counter @HardMoney sent!

JJ and Nabers are both WR1s. JJ is better but only by a couple points.
I think you guys are getting pretty close on that counter. Try to get a better RB than Guerendo.

Depends how many tush push TDs you think Hurts is going to get. I wouldn't do this. You are downgrading at WR and RB to get a bit more QB upside. Dak has a couple weapons. He will have a decent year. I don't think Hurts is a big enough improvement even with the running element and Tush Push TDs.
Shanahan has already said Robinson is RB2 for 49ers so I don't know how many touches Guerendo gets. He will mostly be on STs and probably get a few touches a game unless there is an injury to CMC or Robinson.

Hurts > Dak
Nabers < JJ statistically could be close
G < Robinson but both are not starters
Odunze < McLaren
Johnston < Godwin
- McLaren is 30 so aging a bit
- odunze is unknown product but has Ben Johnson offence upside
- Godwin is hurt and missing at least 4-6 games or more to start the season
- Nabers will get insane usage and statistically could out score Jefferson
- Hurts has more rushing and TD upside than Dak

They took Godwin off PUP so he doesn't need to miss that much time but likely at least a couple games. Hurts has rushing and TD upside but he also throws a lot less as that offense is built around Saquon and his rushing. I do think Hurts on avg will earn a few more points a week than Dak will but I don't know that it is enough to offset what he is losing in the WRs. Depends how high you are on Hurts.
I do think Nabers can put up similar numbers to JJ but I would rather go with the proven guy than a guy in year 2.

Godwin timetable still looks to be week 5 / 6

Seems odd. Should have just left him on PUP and freed up a roster spot. Sure he can practice with the team now but it's not training camp they aren't practicing to get in football shape they are preparing for the next week's opponent so I don't know how much of an advantage that will be considering he is a vet.

Can’t practice on Pup. Maybe they think he’s closer if things go well but the beat reporters seem to still think a few weeks

He shouldn't need 6 weeks of practice with the team is my point though. He is a vet. He needs to get in football shape but they could have kept him on PUP through week 4 saved a roster spot and then activated him after 4 and he could return in 5 or 6.
