As an aside, I recently spoke with Bastien at ACINQ on my podcast and he had really good things to say about the collaborative environment between the implementations today.
His view (i’m paraphrasing) was that it’s ok that all implementations aren’t exactly in lock-step with adding new features, and that they all want what is best for the Lightning Network and will eventually converge on a common set of useful features.
