If you haven't already attached your own wallet to SN yet, then you have no idea what you're missing.

One of the best things I love about SN is that it’s [self-custodial](https://stacker news/wallets). Our sats stay in our hands, and every zap is real, not an IOU. That’s powerful.

But some wallets they don’t play nice when they're hooked to SN. A few wallets even throw errors when trying to receive sats. For new stackers, that can be frustrating.
Here's examples of what errors I often got the first time when I first attached mine.

Nevertheless, all is well now. I just feels like a more clearer guidance on which wallets work best, and why some they don’t, it could make the whole experience to get even more smoother.

What do you fellow Stackers think?

NWC seems to be working well for me. Haven't had any issues so far using Rizful.

I kept npub.cash and cashu NWC as a backup while I work in spare time to get Blixt to do NWC (and likely CLINK), but I currently have 138 sats "pending" that I cannot redeem for some reason, so I've turned it all off until that is resolved <unhappy face>

Yes, I completely agree with you. When I was just starting out, I went through the same frustrations until I finally figured things out. I kept digging, doing research, and asking questions even here on the platform. Honestly, SN has been such a solid space it’s not just a site, it’s a real community.

Edit: self-custodial.
