pull down to refresh

I'm sorry, but why does anyone give a shit. Everyone wants everything to be "woke" or "anti-woke". Can't a business just do a brand refresh, and that being the driving factor of the change? Everyone wants to argue over things that just don't matter. Their revenue is "up" 13% over pre-pandemic revenue... But that's actually bad performance when you think of net expenses and inflation... Can't a refresh simply be because they viewed a needed change in their business instead of some phantom culture war clash/bullshit. Both sides of everything are retarded, whether it be bud light, Sydney Sweeney, or Cracker Barrel. I hate this world where everything is political.

You don't change your entire brand though. No one in their right mind would go ya know what an old school country store needs? Modern minimalism. I mean how bad do you have to miss the ball for Republicans and Democrats to unite in outrage in 2025!

Both sides comment more because we live in this environment where attention matters, so if you aren't commenting or trolling or whatever, people don't know you exist.
So everyone has to comment on everything. Their logo is bland/boring... That doesn't warrant the amount of attention or fury it's getting. It used to be "let's make a change, see how the market receives it by reviewing sales numbers and performance". Now you get instant feedback because it's perceived as woke or racist or whatever. Cracker Barrel is in a no win situation just for trying to refresh their aging/dying brand. It's not like they substantially changed their business. They modernized stores and refreshed a logo.
Damned if they changed, damned if the don't I guess. I only assume many other brands will suffer the same fate going forward.
