Can Bitcoin’s hard cap of 21 million be changed?

Technically? Yes. Practically? Never.

Changing the cap would require consensus from the very holders who bought in because of its scarcity. It’s like asking gold holders to vote for infinite gold.

Bitcoin’s value = hard cap + decentralization. If you touch the 21M, you destroy both!
