Just curious on what you plebs think about the Fold card on SN.

I personally like it. Been paying bills, dinners, and groceries with it and I have stacked so much sats. I do miss the CashApp 10% bitcoin back on coffee. Hopefully CashApp brings that back..

I am still unsure why recurring deposits aren't available. Also, their ACH transfer takes 5 business days when in actuality it should only take 2 business days.

App is also pretty buggy.

None the less, still enjoy using it

Yeah I agree with that. But, still a cool concept on their end.

Is it sustainable in the future tho?? Rewards will go way down and people using it now will be say in the future, "ohhh, when I first got this card I would earn a couple thousand sats with every purchase, now I only earn a 100 or so.."

Either way, it's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Love it. I've collect 2.5 million sats so far.

I've been disappointed recently with the changing wheels but I've been trying to measure my expectations as I think I was spoiled by how amazing the rewards were early on (my best spin was getting ~$75 worth of groceries paid for in full sats back).

I keep $1k on balance to get extra daily spins. Great for amazon gift cards- automatically get 5% back and I can usually get another 2-3% back for 7-9% off AMZ cards.

It's definitely convenient and the experience is gamified, but It's worth thinking through what are you giving away to receive those couple % sats back.

Yeah I completely agree, I hardly ever use my bank anymore. at least with Fold I can earn sats back instead of nothing like a traditional bank account.

By giving away, do you mean my personal information??

I have thought about if I want to take my earned sats and put them in cold storage, wouldn't the address I send it to be officially attached to me?

I'm still new to all of this and learning how to not dox myself.

I have thought of some ways to defeat that, but not a good idea to blast it on here lol.. I bet some cold storage plebs on here will know how to solve that problem just not best practice to let people know..

It's an app/extension that rewards users with sats back on purchases from a bunch of different retailers. The mobile app also has a daily faucet with decent rewards. I scored 1150 sats the other day.
