A few minutes ago, I collected about 22,000 satoshis that I had stacked in a daily DCA last month, so I've completed my first 100,000 satoshis.
I'm very happy about that. Now the next step is to make the first swap to the main chain and send to an offline wallet.
I'm open to ideas on how to send to the main BTC chain or how you do it. If you wait to stack the sats or if you can send them with fewer sats.

Congrats!
Maybe consider swapping onchain when you get more. 500k to 1m would be best IMO

Although this partner's option is quite valid. I personally do not see myself gathering half a million or one million sats in Wos. I couldn't sleep peacefully.
It is preferable to bring Utxo's of 105k or 110k sats and then consolidate at some point a larger utxo and problem solved. and greater security for the medium long term or the time you can take together those 500k sats. In Europe someone is assembled their first Utxo with 500k easy and without disheveled, but on this side of the world things become different and in minor quantities.

And I recommend waiting a bit. Today the transactions in the chain are faces, 8 sats/vB compared to two days ago that was 1 sats/vB
reply
I'll be keeping an eye on how that value holds over the next few days.

the fees u shared are too expensive, proportional to the amount of sats stacked; the additional privacy benefits gained by looping-out (swapping-out or moving lightning-to-onchain) are not worth the sats, imho;
i wud recommend coinos for lower fees of swapping as well as temporary 3rd-party custody, or phoenix if u are already willing to spend this much on a swap-out thru boltz; Phoenix is slightly more expensive, but the private keys are legit and node conectivity is #1;
are u already reading Dathcoin Guides? The following are relevant to your situation:
  1. https://darth-coin.github.io/beginner/be-your-own-bank-en.html
  2. https://darth-coin.github.io/wallets/lightning-cleaning-machine-en.html

Coinos has struggled a bit in the past, but I still enjoy the wallet. Adam does a great job

totally agree. Coinos is fabulous and quite useful. Use coinos for the attached wallet of SN and Nostr, and works wonderfully.
I've read some Darth guides, I'm going to read the ones you recommend. My focus this time has been on accumulating sats. Now I want to do my own custody and get rid of those WOS sats. I know it's very practical and good, but it's not self-custody.

Yeah, this is the way

Do you have access to services that offer bitcoin rewards for fiat purchases?
reply
What I use most is a credit card that gives cashback on sats.
So all my shopping purchases, online purchases, or even a coffee, I pay with it, and I accumulate sats, which from now on I plan to withdraw monthly, I generate a kind of invoice and pay it via lightning

Nice! I missed that post.

Don't worry...it's normal for them to pass.

Just use https://boltz.exchange/. But please do it when the Bitcoin network is less congested.

Yes, I think that's the way...thank you..!!

Congratulations 🎊 It is an important milestone.
I tell you the conclusions I reached.
To assemble Utxo's or "Tickets" of 100k Sats or any other amount (although it is a larger amount, with 5% or less is sufficient). I estimate at least 5% or 10% for the commission or possible future commissions in which if it requires moving that UTXO.
to change from lightning to the chain.
The best, from my short experience. It is Boltz (it allows from 25k or 50k sats. Although it is not viable to build a UTXO for less than 100K)
Robosats is also another valid option. and in the LNP2pbot and seen someone's ads offering that service.
I hope it is useful.

100k was always the first step for the UTXo thing, maybe I'll accumulate a little more to make a bigger UTXo...!!
You're the second Boltz recommends, I'll keep an eye on it.

I understand you perfectly. I also started practice 1 SAT at the same time until I reach my first 100K utxo as a reference. Wow was a great day, that day.
Verify, there you can simulate the previous part to the exchange and warn you more or less how much would be charging you in Fees.
reply
On coinos.io you can swap lightning to on-chain for 0.4% platform fee plus transaction fee (which is dynamically suggested, wait until mempool isn't full).
On RoboSats you can use 'I want to: Swap-Out', but there aren't always offers for as little as 100k sats, and fees can be quite high (like 1.6%). I think the other party covers the transaction fee.
Boltz takes 0.5% platform fee plus a rather exorbitant transaction fee (at times).
reply
I didn't realize you're able to swap out from Coinos to onchain for cold storage. How is that different from using Boltz?
reply
My job now is to thoroughly study that part of sending to the main BTC chain in the safest way.

I've never even used wallet of satoshi, so I'm not sure if it has that service built-in. It might. If it doesn't, you can just use https://boltz.exchange/

imo, in the next decade it'll may became unreachable amount for an average human being.
Newcomers tried to stack 10 Bitcoin -> 1 Bitcoin Today's goal is 0.1 Bitcoin In the future 0.01 -> 0.001 -> and so on
reply
That was really one of the motivations I had to accumulate as many sats as possible, because every year there will be less availability of them on the market.
reply
I guess we can't even realize how purchasing power this amount will have
I remember in early 2023 people everyone could afford 300k sats for $50 and 99% people around me ignored it. Today the same people tell me: It's too late, Bitcoin is too expensive

A while back, I wrote this little reflection on this topic
