Personally, I'm not a fan of subscriptions either, I like to keep things manual. But for sure, there are some real-world use cases where that model could be a good fit.

Subscription isa good trap to keep you paying by something that is useless after sometime.

Now I’m working have many things I can have instead of pay subscriptions. Like music, movies etc.
