I learned physical therapy is only for those who are actually injured and have an x ray or MRI image to get a medical diagnosis
is getting an xray or mri to get a proper look not on the menu? have to be careful you dont make it worse by accident

i think it depends how long and how bad, you might just have a rsi
What is RSI?
Look into sled pulling and pushing too. That should help with knee stability and strength too.
