Young Man Gains Car - 城貧得車

There was a young man who lived in Washington D.C. In those days, child labor laws made it illegal to earn an income while under the age of eighteen, but he had managed to save up money through high school by doing odd jobs while being paid under the table in Bitcoin.
When the BTC price appreciated, he decided to reward himself by purchasing his own car, a transaction which was heavily taxed to finance the public transportation system.
One day, for no particular reason, a gang stole his car, and a rival gang destroyed it.
His chosen friends comforted him. “Bitcoin fixes this. Buy the dip and HODL.”
But his father scolded him. “You thought you could retire off digital beanie babies? You thought you were a big shot ‘cos you could afford a fancy car with your gambling money? Now your lazy ass got no Bitcoin and no car.”
Years later, the man grew weary of D.C.’s gloomy weather and moved to Los Angeles, mostly working in sales for commissions. This allowed him to bypass labor laws that insisted on a 32-hour workweek.
He relied on public transportation, and while continuing to accumulate BTC, he invested in 3D-printers which he used to manufacture ghost guns for himself and his chosen friends. He worked and waited until the Happening. That day, he purchased his car, drove it to the middle of a large, open intersection, and watched over it from the rooftops with his chosen friends.
The next day, his worried father called to ask if he was safe, but the man was busy celebrating a great victory with his chosen friends.
Hence: good fortune is to be fought for, and bad luck is to be defended against.
The man who foresees the cycle is the man who can end it.
