Man, we gotta stop congress from coming up with names for these things: the Nurture Originals, Foster Art, and Keep Entertainment Safe Act is painful.

Maybe we should petition for the Alternative Names for Acts and Laws Act where we get the right to form consensus over what something is called.

The state is always looking to pass laws to protect the cronies and their monopolies not the individual’s rights. AI is opening up countless doors for individuals making a living or just having fun online and big government and big companies are trying to shut the doors before anyone can get through them.

The NO FAKES Act is censorship disguised as protection. It hands state and corporate powers the authority to decide which voice, which image, which imitation is “permitted.” It kills modding, remixing, and the creative pulse of the network. The freedom to imitate, to build, to troll is the freedom to create.
