Fed's Jerome Powell mentioned last year that he's ok with the USD loosing its monopoly as workd reserve currency and there could be two. Looks like they accepted the rise of BRICs+ and their desire of own settlement regulations. But: don't forget that the Fed also is hoarding gold and at one point they will revamue PMs to recapitalize its balance sheet.
