I think moments like these, as tragic as they are shine a light on our hearts and the hearts of those around us. They expose areas where we need work. They expose evil in our hearts and the hearts of those around us. The emotions we feel are things we should examine and consider. Christians especially need to be doing this and remember the life and words of our Savior.

Now is a time for people to take a step back and look inside. We MUST be better. Charlie for better or worse never wavered in his beliefs and if you couldn't agree he never hated or held it against you. He still accepted and love you as Jesus would have wanted. Sure he held Christian beliefs and values but compared to 99% of the people I know on the hill he backed those values up.
