You hit the nail on the head. Everyone I know Right or Left who owns a firearm is not extremely disciplined with it. They lock them away, keep them out of reach of kids, etc. Not a single person I know would shoot a gun off to celebrate the hat is something we only have seen with insurgencies or robberies. Its not normal.
