A 2023 study identified a curious trend in the emergence of wildcat and domestic cat hybrids. Surprisingly, despite having lived side-by-side for around 2,000 years, they only started interbreeding around 70 years ago.
Humans have this weird habit of messing with animals just for their own pleasure. It’s messed up. Poor humans!
It’s currently thought that there aren’t any wildcats in Scotland – in the wild or in captivity – that don’t have some degree of domestic cat influence in their DNA. It’s thought that feral domestic cats are primarily contributing to the problem, but are our pets also to blame? The answer might surprise you.

Laboratory production of new species is an experiment that human beings, who are just figuring out the functioning mechanism of nature. It's pure gambling. Look at pitbull dogs. I have never loved them. They are very repulsive and scary. Maybe others love them. Although I love dogs as much as cats, I couldn't like pitbull dogs.

I disagree. They are my favorite dogs. And they weren't made in a laboratory. They evolved over hundreds of years for their working ability, tenacity, and intelligence.
