Today was a ridiculous day. I had a cinnamon roll in the morning, then nothing for about 12 hours, and then a big bowl of ice cream. I probably got lots of steps, but haven't checked.

Back on track tomorrow.

Most of my calories are delivered at dinner, but I've been eating some significant snack or meal before then usually. I had, I'm sorry to say, a premeditated carrot cake thing this afternoon for instance.

Sleep has been ~7 hours most nights, but I need at least 7.5 to feel 100%.

I'm not recovering from yoga fast enough to do 7 days per week. I used to do 4 days per week of hot, exercise yoga (when I was 30lbs lighter), so I suspect when I'm better conditioned I can survive doing 7 days at this studio (which has "slow vinyasa" or some equivalent 3 days per week).

I love "premeditated carrot cake". I'm pretty good about packing my daily calories around anything premeditated, but I have a big problem with impromptu baked goods.

Day off today, so I got to run under the sun. Weather had cool down quite a bit, so it was a very comfortable run. Johnny had been going on a rampage, totaling 22.5 miles in 3 days. Need to put in an extra long run this Sunday morning to keep that lead...

Today:

  • 70 push ups
  • 15km run
  • 80 second dead hang
  • cold shower
  • 22,998 steps so far. It's almost 8pm and I still have to go buy beer with my wife later. I'll probably add a couple or so thousand steps to the total before the day ends.
