I've just finished making another bitcoin themed game. This one is based on the classic GalCon, with a few bits of my own added in. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other clones out there with the same ideas too though.
It's another browser based game, but designed primarily for desktop.
Thanks in advance to anyone who tries it, and I hope you enjoy it at least a bit!
BTW, there's a mirror at https://bxl909.github.io/HASHCON

I tried to play on mobile (iPhone) and I can’t interact with the menu interface, clicking/tapping doesn’t seem to work

yeah it's really meant for desktop, mainly because it can get a bit intensive when there's 1000's of ships flying around and really it would have been a struggle for me to make it all work on a small screen. I haven't put any touch functionality in it at all, though it seems to just work on the ipad! Hope you get to try it on a desktop 👍

I'm actually trying it on desktop now, and I still can't click. I get a little cross/reticle that moves with the mouse but clicking on the buttons doesn't do anything? A bug, or am I just being dumb? I'm on Chrome if that matters

@nkmg1c_ventures I think the problem was down to me not ensuring the game canvas always fitted in the viewport. I suspect when it wasn't working for you that part of the game canvas was off the bottom of the browser window. I believe I've fixed it now, so if you want to try again I reckon you'll be able to play now. Sorry about that!

It works, you fixed whatever was wrong

Thanks for trying it again 👍

That's strange. It definitely doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. TThe button should glow and he crosshair should become a regular cursor when it's over one of the buttons, so that they become clickable. I tested it on Arc (chromium), Firefox and Edge. I'll give some thought to what might be causing that. Thanks for trying - sorry it didn't work out!

I win! That was more fun than I thought

Thanks for trying it, and congrats! The 'collision' mode is the more entertaining IMO. Maybe it should have been the default.

If it's more entertaining, then for sure make it default
