Another sign that the economy is cracking in the middle class. This is related to my prior post on the drop in HVAC sales. Normies are tapped out.

Interesting
What else would we expect to see cracking, under this middleclass deferred maintenance and upkeep hypothesis?
I'm thinking routine automotive servicing, landscaping, and fencing.

I think you'll see a few things : you'll see a decline a new car sales except for luxury brands. You'll see a decline across the board in products in technology like Apple, you'll see a decline in healthcare enrollment.
middle tier restaurant sales will decline Amazon spending will decline. people will forego insurance on their house or car if they think they can get away without having.
essentially everything except for food and a yearly vacation will be cut

Why not vacation? That's usually one of the first casualties of a recession.
Health care enrollment is usually linked to employment, but I could easily see people passing on checkups to avoid paying the deductibles.
Postponing new technology and car purchases definitely fits the thesis perfectly.
