Should be a good game. I am excited to see how the young defense handles the best and definitely most versatile QB they have faced yet. It will be a good early test. It hasn't been perfect but I have been pleasantly surprised with how well the defense has played. I figured with Saleh back the defense would definitely be better than last year but I thought it would take some time to hit their stride but they have been quite good. It's been needed too with the guys out and other guys hobbled on the offensive side of the ball.

Going into last week I was thinking the Cards would definitely win if Purdy was out but Jones ran the offense well so I will pick the 49ers at home in a close one regardless of who is at QB.
