Unfortunately I think late night as it stands needs to go, which is sad. Not because Kimmel was good, I certainly wasn’t a fan of him, but because the concept is something that used to unite Americans. There are becoming fewer and fewer things we can all gravitate to and share as Americans and for our culture. Things we can share a laugh over or talk about the next day at the office as friends, coworkers, and neighbors. The fewer institutions we have like that, the more the cultural fabric rips apart.

Great point. I think that’s why I’m more bullish on local communities and local churches. Life is only better when shared.

Amen, brother. Everyone talks about the problems with Gen Z, their inability to form relationships, not getting married, this and that. But I can tell you that the young people, ages 21-30 at our church are indeed having great relationships, getting married, and having children
