I have tried a few, but it seems like stacker news is my favorite so far. Podcasting 2.0 is cool also, I like earning sats and listening to podcasts on fountain, although, I just keep my sats instead of boosting and making clips and stuff. guess it's just the hodler in me
light tube or whatever the youtube clone with lightning was called could have been good, but now it seems to have disappeared from the web. starbackr seems like it has potential but I know zero people who actually use it besides me.
Anyone else here on starbackr? So far stacker has been the most used/successful lightning site i have seen besides podcast index, sphinx, fountain, etc and all the podcasting 2.0 apps, but it seems like stacker has far more use than any of those.
What's been everyone's experience here with micropayments on lightning on apps like these. Are there any I am missing, that are cool?
Geyser really nails it for donation-based crowdfunding. Their numbers aren't yet that large, but the UX is pretty good, and it is attracting new projects at the rate of a couple per day. It's metrics seem to be gathering steam.
Donors can be anonymous (via accountless methods, i.e., pay from any LN wallet to the project's Lightning Address provided by Geyser, or pay an LN invoice, or even pay on-chain), or donors can first authenticate which will credit them in the project's Contributors list as well as on the Leaderboard.
