What is your favourite linux DE?

My favourite is MATE then gnome, gnome2 now mate leave a great impression on me when I started using linux ubuntu back in 2010 it was so simple and work for my needs. In the last years I have been using debian with gnome mostly, my now I am using MATE again after debian trixie upgrade. I also like tasksel for changing between then and I reccomend if you want to do some DE changes too.

dwm + dmenu

it's not a desktop environment though, just a window manager

I like gnome a lot too, but one laptop with 8GB MATE is the way, gnome newer version are using too much ram
