I'm surprised how many people voted 85mm, I like 50 better too

I guess 85 is like portrait portrait, real headshots. And 50mm is a little environmental and a little more context - which I like

I'm asking since Nikon, Sigma and Viltrox over the last year all upped their game in 135mm which is a focal length that has been a little bit asleep since almost the analog film days. And very recently the Sigma Art 135 f1.4.

I personally am pretty 50mm pilled. And if you ever meet me in person this is like my favorite topic.

 use something other. A Canon EF 55mm counts in the 50 category, A Fuji GF80 counts in the 85 category imo
