A candle supports a flame
The flame asks for too much
The candle too willfully gives
Wax drips, uncontained
There is no vessel to support it
The candle dwindles and the wax wanes
It runs and falls from the table
As flame burns
wax stains
The candle could again be made whole
But the wax would need to be collected
Tweezed from the carpet
Scraped from the table
Molded anew
It would be messy
It would take time
But such things can be attained
