I did like Kyler’s decision making on the cards final drive. Very savy to slide before the 1st down marker to run more clock and his pass to Zay Jones should have iced the game.
The second we punted and it was a touchback vs pinning you guys I know we had lost lol
Also Marvin is very much in his head. I need him to turn into a WR diva and demand the ball. He is looking like a bust for his draft position. Too many drops that any average NFL receiver routinely makes. Our OC’s scheme doesn’t help but you have to catch open passes that hit you in the hands
At first I thought Nabers was better than him but now you could argue there’s 5+ better than him. Went from being the next Chase / Jefferson to an average WR2
I thought Kyler was good not great. He extended plays with his legs a bunch of times and Cards possessed the ball most of the game. Seems like he and Harrison aren’t quite on the same page. 49ers rookie upton Stout had two big missed assignments that led to those wide open plays for Harrison and your right you just have to catch that first one. Stout made up for it with the play on Jones near the end of the game. He fought for the PBU.
I thought you said NFL was a young man’s league. Haha. Calais Campbell might have been the best player on the field yesterday.

All the other 2nd year WRs are breaking out haha. Odunze looks great and Pearsall was the best WR on the field yesterday.
Marv forgot how to catch. More on him than Kyler imo.
I’m very frustrated with how the cards are breaking him lol. Like if you’re not gonna prioritize WRs in the offense why draft him. Should have traded back, gotten one of the 2nd tier receivers who are arguably better than marv plus picks

Also it’s wild he was viewed as the best Ohio State WR of the bunch while struggling the most in the league.

Hope you guys beat the Seagulls this week. Gonna be tough being so banged up with the short week but hopefully that DLine can get after Darnold and throw him off his game and Kyler’s escapability can mitigate their good pass rush.

I think they could potentially blow us out. Our offense looks pedestrian. I honestly hope they embarrass us so we are forced to fire petzing. Our OC is one of the worst in the league at scheming a passing game.

JSN has been amazing. Defensive strategy has to be the same as this week. Kubiak will want to run the ball. Stop the run so you can get after Darnold. Get after Darnold and good things happen. Hopefully Johnson will be back for you.
