We play an additional matchup against the league median. Effectively score higher than 50% of the league and you'll get an extra W. Score lower and you get an extra L.

it just removes the variance of taking an L if you were the 2nd highest scorer of the week, youd go 1-1 for that week whilst the #1 scorer goes 2-0. smooths out the bumps in randomised scheduling.

It's against league median. The example I was using was if #2 plays #1 they'd get 1-1 and #1 would get 2-0. Instead of just losing because of the way the schedule goes.

That's good. I was in a bad spot once Love had a bad week. I still had a decent chance to win but I need Andrews and St Brown to not go off and both did so in the end it wasn't even close. I was 25 ahead going into last night's game and lost by double digits.

Next year can we go back to the old defensive scoring?

I find it odd that a team that gives up 30 points gets the same amount of fantasy points as a team that gives up 10. I understand we are trying to level it off for competition but the point of defense is to prevent the other team from scoring and currently a team could give up 0 points and another team could give up 40 and the team that gave up 40 theoretically could be worth more. That's weird.
