If you’ve never done a muscle-up before, here’s how I like to break it down:
💡 Swing forward and imagine stepping on an invisible step 💪🏼 Pull hard like a pull-up 🤲🏼 Once you’re level with the bar, shift your hands on top ⬆️ Push up like a dip
To chain muscle-ups together: 👉🏼 Swing forward again 👉🏼 As you come back, “step” on that invisible step 👉🏼 Pull yourself up and dip out
It might look messy at first, but as you build strength, the movement gets cleaner.
