Honestly I hope you’re right but as it looks right now…. That’s just not the case. 

Both sides do not want “their” landmark achievements touched. So CHIPS and Science, BIL, OBBB, etc. are “untouchable” 

It’s a pretty big tent. I’m sure there’s room for both.

I mean most of the trouble causing stuff dies as soon as it is introduced. Even if it clears a chamber it'll die in the other one. Currently I would argue Republicans are in a "fix the broken unlaying shit phase" because the Dems threw a bunch of money at stuff and it turns out that does not work....
