Been mainly busy with the Bitcoin Wall Calendar and corresponding Open Source Culture Creator Contest: #1245319
But also wrote a poem "A Means to an End" #1233796 Which I then read out aloud in nostr vlog volume 6
And interpreted my own dream: #1230419
Otherwise, made some smaller and bigger changes on my websites (changed hosting was one of the bigger ones - remember the referral links issue? It was the hosting's fault and they were unable to fix it...), been working out, etc. Don't really have the energy to write a long overview this time, but I appreciate this thread and the reminder to stop, think, look back, be grateful and strategize. Godspeed. 🤠

Nice progress, I really like the Calendar idea to promote the Open Source Culture. The pricing model for stepping Ads spots is intriguing, can I ask what it drove it in this direction?
Did you say dream interpretation? Have been fascinated by the phenomena myself, is definitely something you should not disregard. There are good books that can help you make a proper interpretation according to different perspectives, from the more psychologically emotional ones to the most astrological or https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18848645-the-esoteric-dream-book. Pic your range of interpretation and have fun with it!

For the pricing model - one of the reasons was that as this idea occurred to me just a few weeks ago, and calendars are a time-sensitive good, I don't have the time to make a contest and a search for sponsors that's going to take a month or more. Plus, this pricing model increases the urgency for the potential sponsor to make the call one way or the other. But the main reason, I guess, is the fact that I have no clue how to price such a perk / service at all. So I figured I start small, but if there is interest, then the companies who jump on board later are going to have to pay a premium.
Yes, dream interpretation :) I don't make much of my dreams usually. But that particular one sort of got my imagination going. Appreciate the recommendations as well, will see if/when I can get to these, my "to read" list is way too long as it is...

Backburnering the naming system I talked about last time, sunk too much time into the blocker, may see if someone wants to pick up some billable hours to hack at it, I need to get back to my teams blockers...
... and that just happens to be directly design related. We've completed some refactoring in ShockWallet around identity and are now implementing new screens to leverage it.
I cancelled my uxpin subscription after not having used it in awhile, found myself spending a lot of time on prototyping irrelevant details. We started using standard components and just iterating on test.
These new screens are more than just iteration though, so needed some way to get on page with front end...
Well I've been using excalidraw for diagrams lately and someone suggested using that to wireframe... And it's been fantastic.
Low fidelity wireframing is super fast and keeps me focused on material things like copy and the purpose of each screen... Also it's better at collaboration without expensive design tooling.
Hope to have a refreshed onboarding and identity flow in ShockWallet in the next few weeks based on it.

Looking for an alternative? Check frame0 #956740 it now integrates with agents, pretty powerful.
Not sure whether I'd use diagrams-tools for wireframing, it's not made for that purpose, but look's like it does the job. I like diagrams.net — for diagrams, it also recently implemented a prompt tool, pretty powerful too. I'd not use it if I do not have the diagram clear in my mind first.

That's sound like a big challenge. Have you tried to split in smaller chunks and migrate the chunks simultaneously? Or is the limitation due to computational power?

well, yes, but I'm thinking more about using it as a way to think through how a model is trained from base-model to producing an assistant, and extending that wonder about what the ultimate end of such forms of training.
