I'm ashamed to admit, but the first thing I do when I wake up is turn on my phone and check my notifications. Then, probably some hot take gets lodged into my head.

After that, make breakfast / pack my son's lunch. Then, wake everyone up because I'm the only early bird in the home. Then, make coffee.

Then, when all is settled down and I'm at my desktop, respond to the hot take that's been living rent free in my head all morning.
