Could we add an option, for example, where I can highlight a word and have some options at the top or to the left with shortcuts to add some Markdown style to that word? Would that be very difficult?

The UI is in flux. The toolbar has a bit more going on. I'm sure sox will see this and take it into consideration.

Other than the shortcuts, what about a toolbar that follows you?
I will see how to make it work in one way or another, but I agree with your vision ^^

Yes that's what I tried to highlight, an entire toolbar with buttons that follow the cursor as scrolling will be great!

These two shortcuts #693148 would also be superuseful to have

I can't wait to share with all of you what's been brewing lately. It's gonna take some time to make it inarguably better than what we have (and arguably better than everything else), and some other time to polish it until it meets our quality standards.

Top priority to make it good but not overwhelming (that is one of the reasons why it's taking a bit longer than usual lol)
