Hey, look at that. People can click a download link...
I know Google has massive money, network reach, and political influence... its not game over and it really annoys me when people cry to politicians about monopoly when that isn't the reality. They cry to an ACTUAL monopoly to do something they can do themselves. Yeah, it may not be easy but things like downloading a browser actually are easy.
Reality is that most people don't care enough to even consider alternatives. This is why we get Google with a massive market share.
What really doesn't make sense is when you believe that massive corporations pay politicians to make favorable rules for them and then turn to those same politicians to make it fair. To do things to hurt the entrenched special interests. Let's give this real monopoly even more power.
We all have the ability to do many things on our own. Politicians can't be trusted. They don't care about your preferences and lives. They just want your vote and your money.

That’s a pretty solid milestone. Personally, I’ve already convinced 7 people. The fight against Chrome goes on! internet’s so much better without ads!

I did 3 the past month alone! Too bad you also have to have them go through settings for half an hour to switch off all the shitcoinery and predatory chatbot logging. But once it's done, it's pretty neat.

I did the same thing, too. It keeps everything nice and clean. My friends I converted to Brave are super happy, they just mentioned a few sites weren't working right, maybe because it blocks too much stuff! Ahahah
