i've never seen a strategy of having sdo many of one team work... yet here you are, in first place.
normally it would be counter intuitive to have the majority in one offense, limits the chances you'd have. but here it is working. craziness
A lot of the high draft picks are having down years and the 49ers are playing much better than expected.
The rest of us might just need time to figure out our lineups.
I have to admit I did not expect Jones, Bourne and Tonges to net me 53 points combined. I expected a big game from CMC.

It won't. I count this as a win. Refs stole 4 points from the 49ers. Whatever happens now it was a gutsy, gritty effort.

Verse bellyflopped on top of Jones on 3rd and goal from the 2. Even the rules analyst said that should have been roughing the passer. 49ers kicked the FG instead of 1st down from the 1.

Lots of game left in this one. Rams get the ball to start the second half. I am very impressed with the 49ers so far.

McVay was in his bag on that drive. All those motions head the two rookies heads spinning and Stafford executed it very well. Big miss on that drive for the 49ers was Sigle not breaking up that third down pass to Ferguson. If he plays the ball there the drive is over. On the Rams side they have to do a much better job stopping third and longs.
Should be a good second half.
Defense no longer has a closer and that is a problem.

When you are playing your 4th, 5th and 6th receivers and your 2nd string TE you don't really have another choice. Rams LBs are their weakness so I even though I expect them to adjust I do think those throws will still be available.

McVay and Stafford are cooking the 49ers rookies but I am still pissed at that non roughing the passer call. Gave the Rams life. The 49ers have enough going against them in this game they don't need to play the refs too.
Refs just handed the Rams a chance with the non rougher the passer call. If that's a first down from the 1 this game is over.
I still think the 49ers D will need another turnover to win this game.
