Today, I want to share a set of photos I took in my photography studio with a model. For this photoshoot, we wanted the theme to be boxing. We chose this theme because it's out of the ordinary and allowed us to be creative with the poses and ideas.
My idea was to focus on boxing, but the girl wanted to add her touch of femininity to the poses, so we took most of the photos on the floor:

We took many photos that day, but here I'm only showing you our favorites. We selected them carefully so you'd see only the best of the best!

The girl showed me a reference of a photo she had seen and wanted to recreate. First, we focused on her body:

The great thing about doing photoshoots with models is that they usually have a lot of confidence in front of the camera and need very little direction. That makes the work flow much faster and with the best vibes. Every time I showed the photos to the girl, she would say, "I love them!"
And a little further back, where her face is also visible:

The focus of the next photo was the girl's face, so we chose a pose where the gloves could also be seen. We didn't want to fall into the typical cliché photo of the person in a guard stance.

And to finish this session on a high note, I wanted to take a photo with a different lighting scheme. Here, I wanted to evoke drama and strength:

All the photos were taken with my Canon R8 camera, a 24-105mm lens at f/4, and a single light source.
In the end, both the girl and I were super happy with the results of this photoshoot. I hope you like them as much as we did!
