Sometimes you have to get creative on connectivity to the mini grid powerhouse where the Bitcoin mining is located.
1600 families connected to this remote hydro minigrid in the mountains of southern Malawi. They have 50kW of stranded energy that we are testing out as a new Bitcoin mining site.
An important aspect is meeting and working with the village chiefs and elders to make sure that they know what is happening in their community. We do this with our power partners who already have these relationships.
