What an absolute boring and brutal game. Here are my thoughts.
  1. The offense is to blame for this loss. Three turnovers and an really bad INT by Josh in scoring position. Constant penalties kept them behind the sticks they couldn’t get James Cook going. By the time they started moving the ball New England was already up two scores.
  2. It’s clear Diggs still has a lot left in the tank. Bills had no answers for him and Drake Maye rolling right and completing passes. The patriots did what they needed to do. Took the ball away and exploited the Buffalo secondary.
  3. The defense played well enough to win this game. Their efforts kept the Bills in it while the offense was napping. All season long I was worried about the defense being the drag but tonight it was definitely the offense.
Not sure why McDermott didn’t have the team focused for Sunday night game. But I will give credit to Vrabel. I think he does well against Sean McDermott. He beat us a few times when he was in Tennessee. His defensive scheme confused buffalo. But the bills need better WRs but I don’t think any are coming during this season.
Bills fall to 4-1 and will face the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night football. Blok may go to that game since I’ll be in Atlanta for TABCONF7! We shall see. This was a boring one but at least we were the last unbeaten team in the NFL.
That was the customary divisional home let down game. There is one every year. They continue to roll from here.

I would but since it was 80% 49ers fans at that game it doesn’t count as a home game.
