We've been having to teach our son this. He's grown up in a world where there's constant stimulation coming in from every angle. We've had to literally force him to practice handling silence.

I get the appeal—endless answers, imaginative play, less screen time. But I wonder what’s lost when boredom disappears. Kids need silence, frustration, even confusion. That’s where resilience grows. If LLMs fill every gap, do we risk raising children who never learn to sit with their own thoughts?
