Venezuela has massive oil reserves and China is working toward access. Trump regained control over the Panama canal to stop them...but they are still not deterred. China already has Iran and Russia as captive suppliers at below world market prices- adding Venezuela would be another CCP nail in the coffin of the once mighty Petrodollar.
