Today, I am going to share a set of birthday photograpihes I took in my studio with a girl who turned 18 years old. She, along with her parents, hired my service to take these photographies and have a memory of this new stage in her life, which is reaching the age of majority.
To achieve the birthday theme, the girl brought normal and number balloons. We started by using the normal balloons first, and I took the first photographs in a wide shot, as i usually do:
It was the girl's first time in front of a camera, so at first, she was a bit nervous. To help her relax, I guided her with the poses:
Then I put the posing cube on the set to have more variety in the poses:
For the following photography, I had the idea to use the circular light modifier, because birthday photograpihes always look very cool with this effect:
Then we proceeded to take a couple of photographies with the number 18 balloons. First, we took a couple of standing photographies and then some on the floor:
That day, I literally took hundreds of photographies, but in this post, I am only showing you our favorites!
At this point, the girl changed her clothes for the second part of her photography session. She wore a beautiful red dress that further accentuated her feminine figure.
In these photographies, we didn't use balloons or accessories so that the girl could use these photographies any day in a casual way.
We started with a standing photography:

And finally, my favorite photographs. For the first one, I used the circular light modifier again, and then a linear one. Both results were incredible!
I took all the photographs with my CANON R8 camera, a 50mm f/2.8 lens, and two light sources.
At the end of the photography session, both the girl and I were super happy with the results. I hope you like them as much as we did!
