How do you check that new users are actually who they say they are?
I don't. SN is still small, if I end up giving a bot a few sats, I figure it's the cost of welcoming the real people who are here for the first time.
If you notice, he's got a horse. At least make sure you send them CCs.

Duh! just in case it's an assmilker.
But what if it's a real person and they just end up with CCs? I want them to feel the energy of a zap.
If he ends up with the CCs, it's a chance to learn more about the platform. The sats are yours, man, you can do whatever you want with them, I'm just tryna open your eyes. I'm cool with it either way. Maybe I should've just kept my mouth shut, though!
