Skanska has won two US contracts together worth $323m, one of which is to build a 50,800-sq-m development in downtown Nashville, Tennessee for $175m.
The Bend (pictured) will contain a 261-unit, 12-storey residential tower with amenity spaces and three levels of underground parking.
The project will also house a nine-floor Moxy Hotel with 188 guest rooms and 1,600-sq-m of retail and dining space.
The other project is a joint venture with Railroad Construction Company to build a standby power generation facility for Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission in Newark, New Jersey.
It will need to produce 34MW of standby power for the Newark Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant during utility outages.
Skanska’s contract share is $148m. Construction is due to finish in the final quarter of 2027.
