I'm glad you got it sorted out.
Would you have been happy just spending and receiving Cowboy Credits for a while?
I wonder if it would be better to make it easier for new stackers to just start with Cowboy Credits at first and then set up their wallets once they get the hang of it.
If I didn't set-up my wallet, Well that could have been a good option until I fully understood the system.
But I just like taking some time to understand things you know:)

It is a shame it is so hard to fully set up.
It must be preventing a lot of people from participating.
I joined before you had to link a wallet and it was much easier then for new people to enter the community.
IMO Coinos wallet is relatively easy one to use but for people who never used a LN wallet the process is going to put off a lot of people like it almost did for you.
Well done getting it set up and pointing out this problem because it is an ongoing one that would be great to get fixed and enable greater growth of SNs.
Some of the guides on how to set up wallet link are very good and maybe SNs can highlight these for newbies?
