I have held off in posting this really in-depth and thorough timeline of what all has gone on to pull of this ceasefire which minus one flare up has remained in place even if shaky. It is truly a remarkable thing that boils down to Trump listening to people and then tackling the problem from the outside in. By getting the group of Arab and Muslim states, some who have established relationships with Israel, on board this allowed a huge gap to be bridged.
When you take a step back and look at not only the complexity but the way that this is all tied together in a relatively simple solution it is remarkable. Both Hamas and Israel are being forced by the outside to stop this. I will say I am not sure how many Hamas fighters are left though.... Israel has taken out so much of their force but finally it is looking like we can start to turn the page.
Today it was talked about starting to rebuild the areas of Gaza that Israel is still currently in and I could see that being a positive. The peacekeeping/stabilization force could move in as well to make sure Hamas and others stay out. While also providing a huge benefit for the Gaza people something that the Arab and Muslim states are very very interested in.
