US healthcare system frequently makes me want to scream. No price transparency, very little ability to take your business elsewhere, all sorts of weird fear dynamics, subsidies and distortions galore. Sadly, I don't see it changing any time soon.

Yeh, it's a disgraceful Frankenstein of a system. I'm not sure what can get it to change. Maybe we need to sneer at doctors more and have them try to change things from within. The business side of health is already hated
