To be fair it’s the most impressive thing to come out of “crypto land”. Obvious product market fit and the liquidity it garners provides the best insight from any prediction market out there. It’s gone mainstream too. Arguably I don’t even think it’s a crypto project anymore with it getting investment from NYSE and likely full regulatory capture. People will be able to use it without needing to interact with any “chain” imo

It's built on Polygon which is a layer 2 of Ethereum. I do hope the Bitcoin integration is successful.

Polymarket was heavily VC funded and marketed by the crypto venture complex.
I will give them credit though. I do think it is one of the few successes to come out of crypto that wasn't just a complete pump and dump grift.
